H-Business Emerging Scholar Interviews
From 2021 until 2024, I was the Associate Editor at H-Business, where I created content to help drive traffic and increase activity on the network, such as my semi-weekly, more-than-quarterly newsletter “The Executive Summary.” After a failed attempt at podcasting and a few book review for the New Books Network, I began working on an interview series to fill what I knew would be a gap in content while I went on parental leave. The interview series highlighted scholars who were no longer “early career” but had not yet published a first book or in many cases, landed a secure job or position. The goal of the series was to give a set of new voices an increased platform and audience, while capturing a moment in time in the future of the field.
